There is an old saying, “Accept what you refuse to acknowledge”. This can pertain to many facets of our life, however it especially rings true with maintaining our health. It is easy to ignore things that are important. Persistent aches/pains, rising blood-pressure, cholesterol, weight, diabetes, loss of function, etc…. These are all realities for many people. Rather than ignore these issues, use them to improve your health by taking appropriate action.
We are never too old to try new things such as: diet changes, incorporating stretching or presenting mindfulness/graditude into our daily lives. It may just matter not for us, but for those around us who make our world whole. Take the time to do something for yourself.
