Happy Holidays! Best Wishes to a Healthy 2022.
We wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 2022. Do your best to improve/maintain you goals in life. What you do in your daily life (managing diet, sleep, stress) can be like medicine and this is true Healthcare. In ancient China, physicians were paid only when their patients were healthy. The alternative to this is Sickcare – waiting until you are sick to get treatment. The choice is yours.
Remember too that developing favorable qualities (being kind, honest and virtuous) does not require any special education or affluence – it just requires daily choices. It can be difficult, but again the choice is really yours. Good luck!
Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Day, October 24, 2021!
Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Day is observed annually on October 24. This is part of an effort designed to increase public awareness of the progress, promise, and benefits of acupuncture medicine. If you or anyone you know have benefited from acupuncture, please help spread the word. By doing so, you pass on the benefits to someone else who may be reluctant, and as a result, continue to suffer from their specific health concerns. Thank you!
Staying Healthy As We Age
There is an old saying, “Accept what you refuse to acknowledge”. This can pertain to many facets of our life, however it especially rings true with maintaining our health. It is easy to ignore things that are important. Persistent aches/pains, rising blood-pressure, cholesterol, weight, diabetes, loss of function, etc…. These are all realities for many people. Rather than ignore these issues, use them to improve your health by taking appropriate action.
We are never too old to try new things such as: diet changes, incorporating stretching or presenting mindfulness/graditude into our daily lives. It may just matter not for us, but for those around us who make our world whole. Take the time to do something for yourself.
Thought For The Day!
In these challenging times, remember to have a wonderful day. Take time to do the things that really make you happy.
